IT Project Administrator role in Bellville, Western Cape. Coordinate logistics, manage JIRA/PPO reconciliation, and support strategic IT releases in an Agile environment.

Sanlam Group Technology is responsible for the provision of a digitally enabled technology service as a group COE, drive business and transformation and provide group-wide digital and data architecture. We operate the various technology platforms and shared services, ensure Cyber and Information Security resilience, and act as technology governance and risk orchestrator for technology across Sanlam.

What will you do?

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the delivery of strategic initiatives across the Millennium and SQ environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating logistics, onboarding, stakeholder engagement, and process alignment to ensure seamless execution of quarterly releases and continuous improvement.

What will make you successful in this role?

  • Maintain and manage WOWSS and Epsilon logistics systems.
  • Log and track SRS requests; support transition to BMC Helix.
  • Onboard new users across TCS WOWSS, Agility HUB, Epsilon BAU, and test or dev environments.
  • Coordinate MIRT Change Requests and baseline releases post-PI planning.
  • Reconcile PPO vs JIRA Epics and support Release Train Manager in quarterly release planning.
  • Facilitate project meetings, ensuring quorum, venue setup, and conflict resolution.
  • Engage effectively with clients and PMs through reporting, governance, and responsiveness.
  • Drive process implementation (e.g., PMA Pods, financial tracker, Steercom sync).
  • Promote Sanlam values: Integrity, Care, Collaboration, and Innovation.

Qualification

  • Matric
  • Any relevant certification in project management or administration will be recommended

Experience

  • Experience in project coordination or support roles.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and release planning.


Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of internal systems and stakeholder networks.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • High proficiency in project tools (JIRA, PPO, BMC Helix).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and team collaboration.
